Spatial Audio® Explained

If the name Spatial Audio® sounds familiar, you’re not alone. It’s an Apple audio program that allows you to listen to your favorite songs and soundtracks in surround sound, giving you a more immersive and complete feeling with every new song. Resulting from a combination of Apple Music® and Dolby Atmos® technologies, it was initially designed for movie soundtracks, which are immersive by nature.

Now you can take that experience on the go with the upcoming Spatial Audio® program for Mercedes-Benz models. Announced at the Paris Auto Show, this exciting new program will be available in select Mercedes-Benz models, including the Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and several EQ by Mercedes-Benz models. It is expected that more vehicles will be eligible for this exciting feature in the future. Eligible vehicles must have a Burmester® 3D or 4D sound system to access the Spatial Audio® system.
