This Mercedes-Benz SUV is available in three trims, all of which equip a nine-speed automatic transmission and the automaker’s proprietary 4MATIC® all-wheel drive system. The GLE 350 4MATIC® trim utilizes a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that outputs 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The GLE 450 4MATIC® trim upgrades to a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine rated at 375 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, which is an increase of 44 lb-ft from last year’s trim.

The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE 580 4MATIC® sees the greatest increase in power. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine is upgraded to produce 530 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque—20 horsepower and 15 lb-ft of torque more than last year’s engine.

Towing and Cargo

With a max towing capacity of 7,700 lbs, the 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV can easily tow a large trailer.
