Powertrains

Every Mercedes-Benz CLA Sedan employs the same architecture and boasts a more aggressive exterior style that appeals to drivers across generations. The rear-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ generates 268 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque, reaching 60 miles per hour from a standstill in just 6.6 seconds. 4MATIC® all-wheel drive is standard for the Mercedes-Benz CLA 350, which produces 349 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.

Able to go from zero to 60 mph in a mere 4.8 seconds, the top EV is blisteringly fast off the line. Both EVs have a top speed of 130 mph. Each EV can go from a 10 percent charge up to 80 percent capacity in 22 minutes if you use a DC Fast Charger.

A 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a mild hybrid system power the hybridized version of the sedan. Total system output for the hybrid is 188 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid sedan can travel using electricity alone at speeds up to 62 mph.

State-of-the-Art Technology

New Mercedes-Benz vehicles are tech-centric, with the Mercedes-Benz CLA Sedan being the first to unveil the latest version of the MBUX® infotainment system. That system leverages ChatGPT® and Google Gemini™ in the form of a helpful voice assistant. The former platform responds to general queries while the latter provides more location-based data. For example, ChatGPT® can tell you your favorite team’s prospects while Gemini™ will tell you about the area’s best eateries.

Tech features are prominently displayed on the sedan’s dashboard. The car’s Superscreen™ is home to a 10.25-inch driver display and a 14-inch center touchscreen. You can also opt for an additional 14-inch touchscreen for the front passenger.

Active Safety Equipment

Safety features are abundant for the Mercedes-Benz CLA Sedan. Those features start with a forward collision warning and crosswind assist. They also include a blind-spot monitor, a driver attention monitor, and Park Assist.
