EQ By Mercedes-Benz: Current and Upcoming Models

These days, we’re all more aware of the environmental and financial impacts of driving. Those looking for greener and more efficient transportation need not compromise on the performance they crave or the luxury they deserve. The EQS

The Mercedes-EQS is the flagship car of the Mercedez-EQ line, and like other vehicles at our Mercedes-Benz dealership in Van Nuys, it’s quickly become a class unto itself. The sedan is joined by a pair of upcoming models, the Mercedes-EQS 580 4MATIC® and the Mercedes-EQS 450+ sedans.

EQS 450+ Sedan

The EQS 450+ Sedan prioritizes battery life, offering an estimated range of 350 miles on a full charge.* As one would expect, the interior — sporting heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats that offer massage features and a bevy of comfort and convenience technology — is breathtaking.

Mercedes-EQS 4MATIC®

Those strengths are given a performance boost in the Mercedes-EQS 4MATIC®. This sedan prioritizes power — 516 horsepower and 631lb-ft of torque, leveraged for a 4.1-second sprint from 0-60 mph — but the range remains respectable at 340 miles.

EQS SUV

Finally, there is the EQS SUV. Although this is an electric SUV, it is still built tough enough to handle going off-road. The battery has a range of 305 miles and provides sufficient power to propel this SUV from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds.

Mercedes-AMG® EQS

The upcoming Mercedes-AMG® EQS has two AMG®-engineered electric motors that generate 649 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque. When Race Mode is engaged, that output can be boosted to 751 horsepower and 752 pound-feet of torque. This SUV has an advanced cooling system to keep your car from running hot, even in Race Mode.

The EQB

For those seeking a smaller ride, the Mercedes-EQB is a compact SUV that doesn’t sacrifice battery or engine power. With a battery capacity of 70.7 kilowatt hours, an estimated 243-mile range, and technology that preserves battery life through predictive route planning, considerable power is compacted into its smaller stature.

The Mercedes-EQB has enough space for seven passengers or for lugging a household’s worth of groceries back home. With 64 colors to choose from for the internal cabin lighting and a virtual assistant with the AI power to answer any question, this car is so fully-featured that you’ll forget it’s electric.

The EQC

While the current cars in the Mercedes-EQ line are exciting, more are on the horizon. The Mercedes-EQC, for instance, will offer two asynchronous motors powered by a battery that can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in only 40 minutes from a Level 3 DC fast charging station.
