Elegantly Electric: Introducing the 2023 EQB by Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz is the benchmark by which luxury motoring is defined. With the all-electric 2023 Mercedes-EQB, the company has turned its attention to defining the new generation of luxury EVs. When you visit our Mercedes Benz dealership in Van Nuys, you will see that they’ve exceeded even their usual lofty standards.

Overview of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB

Appearance and Platform

While it shares a platform and many design cues with the Mercedes-Benz GLB, the EQB diverges in some telling ways. This is evident by the sleek and smooth grille, LED light strips in the front and rear fasciae, custom Aero™ wheels, and a profile that merely hints at a .028 drag coefficient.

Performance and Capabilities

The EQB 300 4MATIC® offers 225 horsepower and 288 lb.-ft. torque, while the EQB 350 4MATIC® raises output to 288 horsepower and 384 lb.-ft. torque. As their names suggest, 4MATIC® all-wheel drive is standard. So is the CCS (Combined Charging Connector), which supports Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 DC Fast charging, the latter backed by a free year of Mercedes me® Charge.

A Plush Interior

While it appears small from the outside, the EQB boasts a spacious interior. On one hand, it’s flexible enough for two and three-row seating arrangements. On the other, you’ll also find 16.4 to 57.2 cubic feet of cargo capacity.

As you’d expect from the Mercedes-Benz brand, interior quality is of the highest standard. Multi-mode interior lighting, aluminum trim, and rose gold accents make this vehicle an oasis of calm.

Technology for Comfort and Convenience

This new Mercedes-Benz SUV also receives a pair of 10.25-inch digital displays, one for the Widescreen Cockpit instrument display, and the other for the MBUX® infotainment system with smartphone mirroring and “Hey Mercedes™” voice activation. This powerful system supports navigation, augmented reality, a full-color heads-up display, Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, and a profusion of other features you should discuss with your Mercedes-Benz dealer.

Advanced Safety Features

Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Brake Assist are among this SUV’s standard driver-assist aids. The optional Driving Assistance Package adds many more active safety features.

  • Active Parking Assist
  • Active Emergency Park Assist
  • Evasive Steering Assist
  • Active Blind Spot Assist
  • Rear collision mitigation via PRESAFE® PLUS
