Performance Features
Power in the 2027 Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe comes from three axial-flux electric motors, two at the rear axle and one up front, built into High Performance Electric Drive Units with integrated single-stage transmissions. The Mercedes-AMG® GT 55 4-Door Coupe produces 805 horsepower and 1,328 lb-ft of torque, while the Mercedes-AMG® GT 63 4-Door Coupe climbs to 1,153 horsepower and 1,475 lb-ft of torque. In its most potent form, that translates to a 0 to 60 mph sprint of 2.0 seconds and a 186 mph electronically limited top speed with the optional AMG® Performance Package.
All of it reaches the road through AMG® Performance 4MATIC® all-wheel drive with rear torque vectoring. Standard active rear-axle steering turns the rear wheels up to six degrees to sharpen agility, and a standard composite brake system pairs carbon-ceramic front discs with steel rears. The 600-kW charging capacity also enables you to recharge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 11 minutes.
Safety Features
Performance means little without control, and this new Mercedes-AMG® EV backs its speed with a robust standard suite of driver-assistance systems. Standard steering and lane-change support eases long highway stretches, using sensors that monitor lane markings and the vehicle ahead. The active rear-axle steering also sharpens responses during sudden evasive maneuvers, adding another layer of active safety.
Technology Features
Inside, a seamless glass panel houses a standard 10.2-inch driver display and a 14-inch central touchscreen, both running the MBUX® interface on the new MB.OS operating system. A 14-inch front passenger display comes standard too, with its own independent content. Enthusiasts will gravitate to the AMG®FORCE Sport+ drive program, which layers a patent-pending simulated AMG® V8 soundtrack over the electric powertrain.
