Mercedes-Benz SUV Buying Guide at Keyes European
If “good enough” isn’t good enough, it’s time to visit Keyes European. After all, not only do you deserve a new SUV that sets a higher standard, you’ll want a Mercedes-Benz dealer that you can hold to higher standards as well. These are three of our favorites — one of which is completely redesigned — for 2019.
2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC
The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC is a welcome member of the Mercedes-Benz family. It’s compact, but offers far more rear seat space than the smaller Mercedes-Benz GLA. That’s helpful on a number of levels, not least the fact that the smaller size helps when navigating traffic or finding a parking space in LA, while the larger cabin ensures you can hit the carpool lane in comfort — and so can your passengers. The capable powertrain is likewise welcome, since the sprightly 6.3 second zero-to-sixty time makes merges and acceleration far more comfortable.
2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE
If you want a happy medium between the smaller crossovers listed above and the off-road beast that follows, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE fits your needs to a “T.” However, it’s not just the size that’s scaled up. The 4MATIC® AWD leads to an assured drive, while the powertrain’s ample horsepower and torque are capable of delivering a maximum 7,200lb towing capacity.
2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, affectionately called the G-Wagen, gets its first full redesign this year. 40 years in the making, it renders the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class even more of a force to be reckoned with. The classic look is still very much in evidence. However, nearly everything here is new, save for just three parts that carry over.
As before, there’s comfort and class to spare. With that said, the revised suspension, locking differentials, and terrain selection modes ensure that it’s every bit as capable off-road as on.
